A native Londoner, Ben was born in 1978 and still lives and works in the city . He trained at Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama and has since successfully worked as a Lighting Designer both in the UK and internationally.

Also on Television, The 2006 - 2010 Brits Launch Shows (ITV), Mindfield (October Films / BBC3), the 2006 Diesel U Music Awards and One Priceless Night at Cafe de Paris(Channel 4).
He has been a Moving Light Programmer for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, 2008 & 2009 MTV Music Awards, 2008 & 2009 Victoria;s Secret Miami Fashion Show, 2008 Brit Awards, Paul McCartney, 2007 Concert for Diana at Wembley Stadium, Andrea Bocelli in Tuscany, The 2006 - 2008 Classical Brit Awards, The Prince’s Trust Concert at The Tower of London, Dave Gilmore at The Royal Albert Hall and the 2006 & 2007 BAFTA Awards
As a director of Evil Edna Ltd, he has lit numerous London Film Premieres including Avatar, Seven Pounds, Revolutionary Road, Valkyrie, The Other Boleyn Girl, What Happens in Vegas, Dreamgirls, Hot Fuzz, Casino Royale and Flushed Away.
